For hospital risk, quality, and peer review

The whole chart on one timeline, before your review starts.

Case Nurse turns scattered records into one dated timeline where every entry links to the page it came from. Your own clinicians review it, make every call, and own the conclusions.

The Case Nurse case file for the invented Whitfield case: facilities, the dated chronology, and the cited source page.

What your reviewer sees first

Each lane is a provider or department, each dot an encounter with its page citation. Repeated visits are grouped, breaks in care are marked, and anything that needs a clinician’s decision is set aside rather than decided for you.

The course-of-care chart from the Case Nurse app on an invented case: one lane per provider from the injury date in March 2024 to late June, a grouped run of ten physical therapy visits, a billing entry ringed for the nurse’s judgment, and a 34-day stretch with no records.
  1. Ten therapy visits on one plan, grouped into one run with one citation range.
  2. An entry that needs a clinician’s decision is ringed and set aside, not decided by the software.
  3. Breaks in care longer than 30 days are marked on the timeline.

“To have it side by side just makes it so much easier.”

Start with incident review

After an adverse event, the judgment takes minutes. Finding and lining up the facts across thousands of pages takes days. Case Nurse produces the dated, cited sequence of care around the event, so the review committee starts from the record in order.

The same timeline then serves the other reviews your team already does:

Peer review preparation
The records behind a case, sorted and cited, so the reviewing clinician reads what matters first.
Claims and pre-claim files
The full course of care organized by encounter, with page citations defense counsel can follow back to the chart.
Transitions of care
A patient’s history from another facility, put in order before the first visit.

Case Nurse organizes and cites what the record says. It does not judge care or the people who gave it.

How a pilot works

Patient records should not leave your walls for a vendor your security team has not reviewed, and we do not ask them to. A pilot starts on synthetic or de-identified records.

Before any real chart is used, we sign a Business Associate Agreement and agree with your security team where the work runs and under which of your policies, including whether it runs inside your own environment.

The pilot is small and paid, runs three to four weeks on review work your team already has, and has its success criteria and next step agreed in writing before day one.

For your security review

  • Business Associate Agreement signed before any patient records are shared
  • Built in Atlanta; records stored and processed in the U.S. on AWS, under a signed AWS BAA
  • Encrypted in transit and at rest; each customer’s data walled off from every other
  • Staff accounts locked out of customer records; emergency access is time-limited and logged
  • We do not train AI models on your records
  • Technology errors and omissions and cyber liability insurance in force
  • SOC 2 audit planned; we answer security questionnaires today
